It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Kaye Barnette of Middlesboro, Kentucky, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 26, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Brooks and Maggie Kennedy Brooks; her husband Robert Ray Barnette; her son Terry Glenn Barnette; her grandson Camden Barnette; her siblings, Rachel Simpson, Clara Melton, Marvin Brooks and Glenn Brooks; her nephews, James Lundy and Dillion Wren; and her son-in-law Michael Tigue.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Barnette (Jessica Wilson), Barbara Hughett, Cathy McClean, Elvis Brooks and Jennifer Brooks; her grandchildren, Tina Elliott, Jannah Hughett, Hannah Barnette, Terry Tigue, Caitlin Tigue and Ashley Barnette; her great grandchildren, Kiearah Barnette, Emma Brown, Keagan Barnette, Karson Barnette, Khloe Davis, Paislee Asher and Kingsley Davis; her great great grandchildren, Gracie Barnette and Kaden Barnette; and her sister Peggy Brooks Brandstutter. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
