She was predeceased by: her parents, Horton Scott and Estelle "Scott Scott" McKart Scott; her husband Donald Nelson Hatfield Sr.; and her sisters, Henryetta Scott Babb and Winifred Scott Medley.

She is survived by: her son Don Nelson Hatfield Jr. Although (Frances) of Acworth, GA; her grandchildren, Ian Nelson Hatfield, Trevor Scott Hatfield and Paige Madison Hatfield; and her sisters, Dorothy Scott Sulfridge of Middlesboro, KY and Mary Scott Hatfield of Knoxville, TN. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.
