With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Eunice Harris of Middlesboro, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jesse and Carrie Massengill; her husband Doyle Edward Harris; her daughter Judith Nelle Harris; and her siblings, Edna Branham, Mildred Miller, Ruby Van Beber, Thelma Williams, Wilma Mays, Carolyn Sue Pursifull, Calloway Arthur Massengill, Thomas Howard Massengill, Harold Massengill, John Roger Massengill and Jesse Massengill.
She is survived by: her daughter Helen Joyce Hester; her son-in-law Robert E. Hester III; her grandchildren, Hillary Dawn Buckner, Robert Blaine Hester and Harrison Edmund Hester; and her great grandchildren, Owen Calloway Hester, Kaia Noelle Griffin, Esme Isabelle Griffin, Nash Louis Griffin and Asher Edmund Hester.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Green Hills Funeral Home (31 Hurst Rd, Middlesboro, KY 40965). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Middlesboro Cemetery.
