With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Gibbons (Middlesboro, Kentucky), who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Bert; and his siblings, Chester Gibbons, Glen Gibbons, Coy Gibbons, Ules Gibbons, Jewel Cole, Vivian Brown, Shirley Cundiff, Frances Blair, Gerlene Combs and Thelma Gibbons.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Harkins Gibbons; his daughters, Myra Miracle (Joe) and Leketta Nantz (Tim); his granddaughters, Amanda Brock (Dustin), Scarlett Mills (Taylor), Amelia Jones (Jake), Cassidy Stewart (Seth) and Emily Miracle; his great grandchildren, Parker, Mason, Emersyn, Harper, Madalynn, Eliza, Palmer, Scout and Shiloh; his stepdaughter Dee Witt; his stepgrandchildren, Jordan Witt, Morgan Mills (Dustin), Monica Gambrel and Cody Gambrel; his brothers, Carroll Gibbons (Media Sue) and Truman Gibbons (Phyllis); and his sisters-in-law, Dolly Jean Gibbons and Susan Gibbons. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Cawood Funeral Home (112 S 21st St, Middlesboro, KY 40965). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Green Hills Memorial Gardens (1805 State Hwy 441, Middlesboro, KY 40965).
