With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Wayne Goodman of Middlesboro, Kentucky, who passed away on April 3, 2025 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Gary farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gary is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his father Bill Goodman; his brothers, Randall Goodman and Cotton Goodman; and his sister-in-law Kim Goodman. He is survived by: his mother Lula Goodman; his daughter Trinity Gilmore; his siblings, Kay Smiddy, Richard Goodman and Billy Goodman; his cousin Scotty Ayers; and his close friend Rodney Moyers. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Green Hills Funeral Home (31 Hurst Rd, Middlesboro, KY 40965). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hurst Cemetery.
