She is survived by: her children, Lisa Brown Patterson (James), LaHoma Brown Maiden and Rodderic Brown; her brothers, Robert Whisenant and Curtis Whisenant; her cousin Jackie Croft; her close friends, Peggy Rainey and Mary Cocker; her caregiver Nathaniel McCarty; and her pet Roxi. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
