She was predeceased by: her parent Bascom McCart; her husband Teddy A. Vanover; her daughter Linda Griffin; her siblings, R. B. McCart, Betty Lou Smith and Pauletta Moore; and her son-in-law Franklin Prater.
She is survived by: her parent Ora McCart Brackett; her children, James M. Vanover, Billie Prater, Betty Prater (J. C.) and David Vanover (Theresa); her brother Kenneth Brackett; and her grandchildren, Franklin Teddy Prater, Sharon Fleeman, Michael Prater, Timothy Tim Prater, Mark Anthony Prater, Aimee Hendrickson, Brian Griffin, David Vanover, Jr., Mitchell Vanover and Joseph Vanover. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren.
