It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debbie Jean McCombs of Middlesboro, Kentucky, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Ballenger and Mildred Ballenger; her husband Joseph Mitchell McCombs; and her sisters, Velma Foster and Annetta Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph "Joey" McCombs and Sharon Thompson of Middlesboro, KY; her granddaughters, Christina Thompson, Makala McCombs and Khloe McCombs; her siblings, Edward Ballinger (Carrie) of Middlesboro, KY and Alberta Blackburn (Richard) of Middlesboro, KY; and her close friend Crystal Rogers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
