He was predeceased by: his parents, James Combs and Ellie Jane Lewis Combs; his wife Nancy Sayers Combs; his son Tony Combs; and his siblings, Junior Combs, Jackie Combs, Mable Hamilton and Lucy Sweet.
He is survived by: his nieces, Linda Swartz, Beverly Manson and Rhonda Edwards; and his close friends, John and Barbara Brock.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Green Hills Funeral Home (31 Hurst Rd, Middlesboro, KY 40965). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Sams and Elliott Cemetery.
