She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jesse and Carrie Calloway Massengill; her husband James R. Pursifull; and her siblings, Edna Branham, Mildred Miller, Ruby Van Beber, Wilma Mays, Thelma Williams, Tommy Massengill, John Roger Massengill of Jim Massengill, C. A. and Harold "Doc" Massengill.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Pursifull and Jeff Sharpe (Bridgett); her granddaughter Jamie Pursifull; her sister Helen Harris; and her caregivers, Francine Gambrell and Wendy Hackworth (Kathy Partin). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
