She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Patterson and Maggie Patterson; her son Ricky Gilbert; her siblings, Evelynn Lamb (June), Magadlen Mayes (Ralph), Retha Partin (Eddie), Leonard Patterson (Maxine), James "Buddy" Patterson (Wanda), Dexter Patterson (Thelma), Ancil Patterson (Georgia) and Eli "Junior" Patterson (Roberta); and her parents-in-law, Woodrow Gilbert and Rosalee Gilbert.
She is survived by: her husband Earl Gilbert; her son Robert Gilbert (Stephanie Eldridge); her grandchildren, David Gilbert (Michelle) and Amber Gilbert (Blake Collins); her great grandchildren, Cheyanne Gilbert, Josiah Gilbert and Ambrose Collins; and her sister Opal Inman (Bill). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
