He was predeceased by: his parents, Gardner Newsome and Wadie Newsome (Little) of Melvin, Kentucky.; his brother Gary Blake Newsome; his wife Anna Newsome (Isaac); and his son Jeffrey Shane Newsome of Murfreesboro.
He is survived by: his sister Gwendolyn Akers (Newsome) of Marietta; and his grandchildren, Jackson Carter McCrary, Lily Melisandre Newsome and Gavin Slade Newsome.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services (609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
