He is survived by: his wife Patty Stanley McCown; his sons, Danny McCown Jr. (Sally) of Wheelwright, KY and Shane McCown (Rachel) of Melvin, KY; his siblings, Collie Tackett (Kandi) of Lexington, NC. and Rita Little of Prestonsburg, KY.; his grandchildren, Shana McCown (Allen Harris), Dana McCown (Brandi) and Chelsea McCown; and his great grandchildren, Layton Harris, Benson Harris, Averie McCown and Haven.
