He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Burns and Gertrude Burns (Spade); his siblings, Carol Lamb, Donna Bankemper and Jack Burns; and his grandson Michael Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Steve (Mindy), Tony (Kim), Dan Burns (Angie), Laurie Secaur (Pat), Jeanna Weaver (Kyle) and Judy Miller; and his sister Dianne Zenni (Gene). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
