He was predeceased by: his daughter Elizabeth Butler; his siblings, Michael Summers and Beverly Summers; and his parents, Williams Summers, Sr. and Lila Smooter Summers.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jostock Summers; and his children, Ronald Butler of Mundelein, IL, Joseph Summers of Melber, KY, William Summers III (Melissa) of Melber, KY, Frances Spivy of Bunnell, FL and Patricia Gladstone of Mundelein, IL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
