He is survived by: his wife Darlene Thomas Simmons; his children, Shaun Simmons (Becky) of Paducah, Matthew Simmons (Jenny) of Titusville, Florida and Darla Simmons (Derrik); his siblings, Barbara Simmons Rives of Arcola, Illinois, Glenn Simmons (Donna) of Camp Verde and Dwight Simmons (Janice) of Paducah, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Thomas Dean Simmons, Howard Simmons, Zoey Perry and Eli Simmons. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
