She was predeceased by: her parents, Courtney Brooks and Mary Marie Mullins Brooks; her daughter Mary Jo Howard; and her brother Albert Brooks. She is survived by: her husband William David King of Means, KY; her children, Harold Wayne Howard of Means, KY, Darrell Howard of Means, KY and Barbara Taulbee of Mt. Sterling, KY; and her siblings, Elmer Brooks of Mt. Sterling, KY, Delbert Brooks of Mt. Sterling, KY, Edgar Brooks of Mt. Sterling, KY, Deloris Charles of Powell County and Anna Mae Rowe of Menifee County, KY. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
