He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Edward and Vertie Mae Wilhoit Sparks; and his siblings, Charles Long, Thomas Williams and Martha Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, David E. Sparks (Farrah) of Versailles, Kentucky, Jessi Mullins (Brian) of Georgetown and Sherry Blakeman of Allen County, Kentucky; his sister-in-law Linda Williams of Wetumpka, Alabama; and his close friend Sharon Lyons of Tampa, Florida.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
