She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Brown and Dora Naylor Brown; her daughter Corena Yocum; her siblings, J. T. Brown, Gabe Wesley Brown, Ernest H. Brown and Mamie Privett; and her great great grandchildren, Kynsleigh Wilcher and Leah Catherine Cordier.
She is survived by: her husband James T. Owens of McKinney, KY; her children, James "Buck" Owens (Paulette) of New Salem, KY, Jackie Owens (Rita) of Geneva, KY, Marty Owens of Stanford, KY, Garnett Owens (Teresa) of McKinney, KY, Barbara Walls (Dale) of McKinney, KY, Shelia Harris (Scott) of McKinney, KY and Bonita Gilliam (Dannie) of McKinney, KY; and her siblings, Vernon Brown (Ellen) of Hustonville, KY and Emma King of Geneva, KY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
