He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Edward and Mary Joyce Hurley Morris; his brothers, Michael Morris and Marty Morris; and his daughter Amanda Mae Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Mae Perry Morris; his children, Jerry Edward "Bubby" Morris, Jr., Joseph Dale "Joe Bob" Morris and Mary Ann Morris; and his siblings, William Morris, Johnny Lee Morris, Melinda "Sissy" Morris and Heather Morris. He is also survived by Four granddaughters; one grandson; and two great grandsons.
