Though Jeannette may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Maurice McDermit and Anna O'Hara McDermit. She was also cherished by seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1523 Donelson Pkwy, Dover, TN 37058, to honor her lifelong commitment to her faith and community.
