She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Thacker and Glema Mullins Thacker; and her brother Richard Thacker. She is survived by: her husband Vernon Dye; her children, Alma Temeka Dye, Jessica Nicole Dye and Malcom Vernon Dye; and her siblings, Sherry Scaggs (Donnie), Bernadette Allen and Terry Thacker.
