He was predeceased by: his parent Kit Stumbo; and his siblings, Paul Stumbo (Joyce), Klein Dean Stumbo (Doris), Don Stumbo (Bessie), Larry Stumbo, Greta Glo Clark (Cecil) and Helen Hall (Peco).
He is survived by: his wife Faye Miller Stumbo; his daughter Jaynie Carol Watts of McDowell, Kentucky; his grandsons, Noah Thomas Watts and Jonah Chett Watts; and his siblings, Johnny Stumbo (Glessie) and Nancy Gibson.
