With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Allison Shirlene Hamilton of McDowell, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2024 at the age of 59. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Allison Shirlene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her mother Patricia Ann Turner Potter. She is survived by: her father Clarence Potter Jr. of McDowell; her spouse Terry Hamilton; and her brothers, Jeff Potter (Christina) of McDowell, Mike Potter (Tonya) of Bath County and Randy Lee Potter (Kara) of Lawrence County, Kentucky. She is also survived by 5 Nephews & 1 Niece.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 6:00 PM and on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 4:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Old Beaver Old Regular Baptist Church (635 KY Rt 466, Melvin, KY 41650).
