She is survived by: her children, Christopher Carpenter (Mia) of Maysville, Amy Carpenter of Aberdeen and Donna Elliot (David) of Maysville; her sister Katherine Hughes of Ripley; and her close friend James Cecil Vaughn of Aberdeen. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; three nieces.
