We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2020, at the age of 91, Nora Jane Cooney of Maysville, Kentucky, born in Mason, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Maley and Marie Ryan Maley; her husband Joseph Patrick Cooney; her son James; and her siblings, Ella Mae Maley, Margaret Stambaugh, James Maley, John Maley, Catherine Pawsat, Elizabeth Maley and Rosie Ryan.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Skrodenis (Don) of Wheaton, IL., J. Michael Cooney (Michele) of Cincinnati, Barbara Anderson (Clair) of Batavia, NY, Thomas Cooney (Crystal) of Cincinnati, Sue Brammer (Kenny), David Cooney (Melissa) of Maysville and Carole Foos (Brian) of Cincinnati; and her grandchildren, John, Nora, Andrew Skrodenis, Erin Cissell, Kevin, James, Matthew Cooney, Maureen VanWert, Laura Wright, Curt, Ryan Anderson, Nick Faulkner, Ellie Cooney, Joe Brammer, Margaret Shergy, Anne, Patrick, Colin, Brian and Bridget Foos. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to St. Patrick School, 318 Limestone St., Maysville KY 41056.
