He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Linville and Della Mae Cunningham Linville. He is survived by: his close friend Betty Jo Hayslip; his daughter Alana Ward; and his sisters, Betty Louise Hayslip, Mary Elizabeth McDowell, Rosalee Null and Vera Lane Linville. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
