It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Hale Newsome (Maysville, Kentucky), born in Barboursville, West Virginia, who passed away on May 22, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy David Hale and Sarah Adeline Hale; her spouse Russell Newsome; her siblings, Charles David Hale and Ida Dyer; her brother-in-law John Dyer; and her son-in-law Kenneth Wayne Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Cooper of Dover, Jeff Newsome (Connie) of Stanton, Sandy Ward (Greg) of Lexington and Sheila Mineer (Keith) of Maysville; her grandchildren, Shelley Quillen (Ronnie) of Dover, Andrew Cooper (Kara) of Dover, Amanda Cooper of Minneapolis and Tyler McDaniel of Maysville; and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Andrew, Sarah, Austin, Bailey, Quentin, Trenton, Aspen, Lincoln and Oaklynn.
