He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilson and Martha Virginia Woollard Schweickart; and his brothers, Roger Elbert Schweickart and Phillip Albin Schweickart. He is survived by: his wife Patty Earls Schweickart; his daughter Candida Costa (Brian); his stepchildren, Melissa Jolly and Michael Jolly; his brothers, Clark Schweickart (Deborah) of Chandler, John Thomas Schweickart (Julia), James Schweickart (Bonnie) of Georgetown and Robert Schweickart of Witcha, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Katlyn Hartman (Frank) of Felicity, Allison Pitakis (Kyle) of Maysville, Matt Costa (Jody) of Amelia, Alexis Schumann (Charles) of Maysville and Zan Jolly (Chasity) of Maysville; and his great grandchildren, Waylon, Owen, Loretta Hartman, Emilia Pitakis, Layla, Kane Jolly, Saylor, Hudson, Myles Costa, Ean Beiland and Abigail Schumann. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brell & Son Funeral Home (620 E 2nd St, Maysville, KY 41056). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
