It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Ann Thompson of Maysville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Banie Stanton and Phyllis Myers Stanton; and her siblings, Janet Anderson, Rachel Stanton, Paul Stanton and Jerry Stanton.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Davenport of Maysville, Melissa Workman (Tony) of Fleming County and Jeff Thompson (Sherry) of Maysville; her grandchildren, Haley Lowe (Clint), Alexis Thompson, Hunter Thompson, Shelby Thompson, Leanna Hunt (Keith), Kevin Workman (Savannah), Christian Claypoole (Kayla), Dustin Davenport and Matthew Davenport (Natasha); and her brothers, Phillip Stanton, Charles Stanton (Jenny) and Gordon Stanton (Angela). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
