With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Lofton Sr. (Maysville, Kentucky), who passed away on December 22, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Smith Lofton; and his brother William Cornell Lofton. He is survived by: his children, Danita Denise Lofton Lewis (Anthony) of Maysville, Goldenia Faye Lofton of Louisville, KY, James E. Lofton, Jr. (Laticia) of Louisville, KY, Melissa Gale Lofton Berry (Gerald) of Louisville, KY, Robert Cornell Lofton of Lexington, KY and Samantha Jean Lofton Moss (Christopher) of Indianapolis, IN; his siblings, Millie Lofton, Virgie Lofton Clayton, Joe, Sammy, Arthur and Franklin Lofton (Kathy); his grandchildren, Andrea Danielle Lewis, Shauntel Tiarra Lofton Koudou (Vincent), Caseyn Marissa Berry Agostinello (Timothy), Candace Melissa Berry, James E. Lofton III, Robert C. Lofton II and Tyler Robinson Lofton; and his great grandchildren, Aeary Kai Wilson and Vincent Josiah Koudou Mr. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside rites following service, open to public, due to COVID restrictions masks and social distancing required.
