He is survived by: his children, James Riggs (Linda) of Maysville, Kentucky, Charles Riggs (Donna) of Maysville, Kentucky, Steven Riggs of Maysville, Kentucky, Christina Riggs of Flemingsburg and Suanne Shelton; his grandchildren, Brittany Riggs (Brandon), Kelsey Riggs (Dillion), Devin Riggs, Brandon Welch, Kaelynn Heming, Jessica Hay, Sierra Anderson, Isiah Riggs, Laela Riggs, Weston Riggs, Colton Riggs, Elijah Riggs, Wendell Shelton, Serena Shelton and Rebecca Fite; and his siblings, Freddy Riggs (Yoko), Hazel Egleston (Jerry), Carol Applegate, Juanita Poe and Mae Tune (Garry). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
