He was predeceased by: his parents, Walker Coomer and Dorothy Dunaway Roach of Beattyville, KY.; his wife Mary Lou White; and his siblings, Loretta Roach, Ewen "Bunk" Akers and Glen Roach.
He is survived by: his children, Mary "Fannie" Wright (Lonnie) of Wallingford, KY and David Coomer (Juanita) of Maysville, KY; his grandchildren, Jonathan Wright (Hannah), Kelly Fogleman (Seth) of David and Meagan Chenault (Troy); his siblings, Janice "Sue" Roach Kelso, Elmer and Curtis Roach; and his aunt Alice Roach. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
