He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Jones and Anna Dugan Jones; his wife Dorothy Leet Jones; his son Danny Jones; his daughter-in-law Sherri Prather Jones; and his siblings, Irvin Jones and Ruby Gilpin.
He is survived by: his son Michael "Mike" Jones (Brenda); his grandchildren, Matt Jones (Jill) and Alison Hazelrigg; his great grandchildren, Macie Lynn Hazelrigg, Aubrey Jones and Brady Jones; his sisters, Ruth Ann Brown and Mildred Downing; and his friend Leslie Gifford.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory (5043 Main St, Mayslick, KY 41055). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
