Courtney Lewis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Courtney Lewis of Maysville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John Lewis; his siblings, Charles Ray Lewis, Frances Wardlow, Elis Lewis and Paul Lewis; and his sisters-in-law, Pearl Walker and Ruby Webster.

He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Varvell Lewis; his sons, Leslie Lewis of Flemingsburg and Butch Florence (Sally) of West Union; his granddaughter Rayshel Elliott (Jarrod) of Augusta; his great grandchild Claire Elliott; his daughter-in-law Julie Florence; his sister Marilyn Swim (Doug) of Mt. Carmel; his brother-in-law J. D. Varvell (Rosemary) of Aberdeen; and his caregiver Amanda Lewis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
