He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Wayne and Mae Jean Brandon Heller; his son Mark Heller; and his sister Marlene Baughman. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mae Epperson; his children, Rebecca Heller Layne (Todd) of Nicholasville, Phil Heller (Christie) of Newburg, IN and Seth Heller (Carmen) of North Canton, OH; his daughter-in-law Karen Heller of Maysville; his brothers, Ron Heller (Jeanetta) of White Mills, KY and Don Heller of Rushville, IN; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Blankenship, Devyn Allen, Savannah Layne, Jacob Heller, Lauren Heller, Elizabeth Heller, Carter Heller, Jenna Heller, Cade Heller, Kendyll Heller, Ava Heller, Asher Heller, Zoe Heller and Sophie Heller; and his great grandchildren, Marley Blankenship, Laney Blankenship and Henry Heller. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
