She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Cleveland and Sena Fyffe Darnell; her former husband Charles Emmons; her husband John Strausbaugh; her granddaughter Lisa Kersey; her great grandchildren, Anthony Charles Emmons and Miranda Shawgo; and her siblings, Vincent Darnell, Omar Darnell, Claude Darnell, Harvey Darnell, Edgar Darnell and Gladys Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Bigelow of Maysville, Sue Moran of Maysville and Tony Emmons of Maysville; and her grandchildren, Buddy Thomas, Michelle Schisler, Stephanie Polley, Brian Shawgo, Samantha Emmons and Ethan Emmons. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
