She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Earl and Nellie Mae Garrison Brooks; and her siblings, Nancy Williams, Desi Mae Brooks, Willa Meana Brooks and Troy Brooks.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shavon Khadiri (Christopher Wood) and Daylanka Adams (Dwight); her grandchildren, Kamar Collins, Khyaire Thompson, Avery Adams and Azaria Adams; and her siblings, Leonard Brooks, Otis Brooks, Ada Brooks, Melissa Brooks, Mildred Brooks and Willa Brooks Kidd.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mays Lick Community Center (5003 Raymond Rd, Mayslick, KY 41055).
