William Comer Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Comer and Margaret Welsh Comer of May's Lick; his former wife Joan Murphy Comer; and his son Harold Lee Comer. He is survived by: his children, Louise Gladstone of Lexington and George Comer (Calif) of Placentia; his wife Kitty; his children, Kristen and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Reece and Remi; his children, Greg Comer of Hartford, Chris, Laura and David; his daughter-in-law Antonia Comer of May's Lick; his grandson-in-law Kenton (MaKayla); his great grandchild Kenley; his children, Patrick Comer of Camby, Bryan, Max, Anna, Charles Comer of Mount Sterling, Kiernan, Matthew Comer of Maysville, Faith, Hope, Nick Comer of Winchester, Clay and Emmie; his sister Julia Mae Schoch of Coldwater, Ohio.; and also, Mack, Myles, Tyke, Kynze and Rowan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory (5043 Main St, Mayslick, KY 41055). A prayer was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Rose of Lima Catholic Church (5011 Raymond Rd, Mayslick, KY 41055).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, the William T. & Joan Comer 4-H Family Scholarship fund, 212 Scovell Hall, Lexington, KY 40546, or Hospice of Hope.
