He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry S. Collins and Mae Manion Collins; his uncle Lawrence "Buddy" Manion; and his siblings, Eddie Gallenstein, Annelle Weber, Henry S. "Red" Collins, Jr., J. T. Collins and Gene Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Phoebe Whaley Collins; his children, Joe Collins (Lori) and Joni Aylor; his grandson Travis Collins (Keeley); his great grandchildren, Paisley and Emma Collins; and his brother Paul Collins (Pat) of Florence. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
