It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Morris Gibson of Mayking, Kentucky, who passed away on September 23, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Codell Gibson and Zola Sizemore Gibson; his siblings, Bill, Merty, Alfred, William, Mary and Eyvonne; his son Joshua Morris; and his grandson Christopher Isaiah.
He is survived by: his children, Jacob Pennington (Shannon) of Corbin, Brandon Shane Gibson (Jessica) of Williamsburg, Amanda Amon (Shawn) of Whitesburg, Cody Gibson (Lateesha) of Georgia, Kelli Brock of Nicholasville and T. J. Gibson (Bethany) of Pikeville; and his siblings, Codell, Alex, Thomas, Rita, Caldonia and Ruth.
