He was predeceased by: his parents, John Taylor and Doshie Elswick Taylor; and his brother Foster Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Stewart Taylor; his daughter Jamie Sturgill of Eolia; and his grandchildren, Gabriella Sturgill, Gavin Sturgill and Genesis Sturgill.
