She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Dixon and Eva Eldridge Dixon; her husband Lee Vernon Ables; her son Walter Dean Ables; her grandson Michael Lee Franklin; and her siblings, Shelby Dixon, Lonnie Gibson and Patsy Hamilton.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Franklin (Edwin) of Millstone, Karen Hixon (Mike) of Ten Mile, Kathy Butler (Tim) of Bardstown and Darrell Bentley (Jeannie) of Payne Gap; her granddaughter Alyssa Franklin of Millstone; and her siblings, Freda Trent of Hallie, Lania Trent (Carl) of Cornettsville, Dan Dixon (Jackie) of Hallie and Cyd Dixon of Hallie.
