With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bill Wayne Adams of Mayking, Kentucky, who passed away on April 25, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Adams and Roxie Kincer Adams; and his siblings, Robert Gene Adams (Rose Wright), Eddie Adams (Dottie Polly), Jim Adams, Elmer Adams (Linda), Roger Adams, Orville Adams, Jr., Ivel Buckley, Sara Gonzales, Joyce Mann and Jenny Bowlsby (Henry).
He is survived by: his sons, David Adams (Mary Elkins) of Georgetown, Samuel Adams (Donna Shinn) of Longwood and Jason Adams (Erica Hatfield) of Mallie; his brother George Michael Adams of Chicago; his sisters-in-law, Julie Adams and Mary Adams; his grandchildren, Deforest Adams (Jennifer Tucker), Samuel Colton Adams, Donald Wayne Adams, Lucy Abigail Adams, Claire Adams, Audrey Smith (Rob), Miguel Adams and Grayson Adams; and his great grandchild Carlie Lillian.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Letcher Funeral Home (102 Main St, Whitesburg, KY 41858). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
