It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Black Cavender of Mayfield, Kentucky, who passed away on August 7, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Louis Lear and Wayne Black; her daughter Connie Lear; her siblings, Glen Willis, Robert Willis and Sue Colley; her nephew Bobby Willis; and her mother Callie Cole Willis.
She is survived by: her husband Benny Cavender; her sons, Ronnie Lear (Dina) of Hartselle, AL, Donnie Lear of Mayfield, KY and Lonnie Lear of Fairdealing, KY; her daughter-in-law Jackie Lear; her grandchildren, Laken Miller, Logan Lear, Lonnie Lear, Jr., Jacqueline Lear, Amanda Parsons and Jennifer Lear; her siblings, Ruby Harding, Faye Black and Cotton Willis; her nieces and nephews, Pat Salem, Juanita Buero, Penny Cunnigham, James Black, Ricky Colley, Jimmy Colley, Ricky Willis and Becky Minter; and her stepdaughters, Debbie Jenkins and Stephanie Cavender. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
