Viola Mae Ferrell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2025, at the age of 96, Viola Mae Ferrell of Mayfield, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Viola Mae leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ranzy Ferrell; her siblings, Lucille Perry, Zalma Suiter, Oakley Suiter and Ernest Suiter; and her parents, George Suiter and Eva Workman Suiter Lintz.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell E. Ferrell (Judith) of Hickory, KY and Fredia Ferrell of Mayfield, KY. She is also survived by three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Byrn Funeral Home (1020 Paris Rd, Mayfield, KY 42066). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
