She was predeceased by: her parents, Miles Creason and Betty Lou Sumner; and her stepfather Charles Sumner Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Dowdy (Shawn) of Mayfield, KY and Jacob Chambers (Kimberly) of Mayfield, KY; her brothers, Roger Creason (Brenda Turley) of Bowling Green, KY, Chuck Sumner (Betty) of McCracken County, KY, Kenny Sumner of Louisiana and Mark Creason (Amy) of Richmond, VA; her grandchildren, Caleb Dowdy (Hayleigh), Madison Dowdy (Brandon Henderson), Trey Chambers (Kristen) and Nate Chambers (Abbi); and her great grandchildren, Kie Dowdy, Kaiden Dowdy, Koe Dowdy, Dallen Henderson and Knox Chambers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home - Mayfield (1223 W Broadway, Mayfield, KY 42066). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
