It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Jane Toon Tharp Crenshaw of Mayfield, Kentucky, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Toon and Ada Emmerline Toon (Gibson); her former husband Ira Tharp; her husband Jewell Crenshaw; her children, Charles Tharp, Johnny Tharp and Wilma Tharp; her grandson Jeff Tharp; and her siblings, Nora Carter, Albert Toon, Charles Toon, Rudolph Toon and Tom Toon.
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Dodson (Carl) of Fancy Farm, KY, Marie Edwards (Robert) of Clinton, KY, Dennis Tharp (Peggy) of Fancy Farm, KY, James Tharp (Janie) of Scott City, MO and Robert Tharp (Karen) of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren.
