With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Vaughan of Mayfield, Kentucky, who passed away on January 28, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Lelon Vaughan; her son Ricky Cox; and her parents, William "Bill" Bass and Jennie Carr Bass. She is survived by: her children, Jennie Usher (Kevin) of Mayfield, KY, Kristy Vaughan of Paducah, KY and James Gray of Princeton, KY. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
