He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sherrill Stokes, Bill Stokes, Janet Henderson, Karol Stokes and Karon Stokes; his nephews, Mike Henderson and Brian Stokes; and his parents, Lester Stokes and Lucille Crow Stokes.
He is survived by: his wife Levon Stokes; his nephews, Allan Stokes (Joy) of Madisonville, KY and Tim Henderson; his niece Denise Abanatha; his great-nephew Ronnie James Stokes; his great-niece Nevaeh Stokes; and his pet Princess.
